STEP 1: Dip and Pipe Marshmallows
Melt the candy coating in the microwave on half power, in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Remove when almost melted and continue to stir until completely melted.(Do not overheat). Next, insert a cookie stick into each marshmallow to make a hole, remove, dip the stick in coating and reinsert into the marshmallow to adhere. Dip the front half of each marshmallow in coating and set aside to dry.
Prepare the royal icing mix per the bag instructions, beating until the icing is light and fluffy and easy to pipe (add a touch of additional water if necessary). Place the icing in a disposable bag fitted with a #45 tip. Using the flat side, pipe the wrapping on the mummies, leaving a gap where the eyes will peek out.
STEP 2: Attach Eyes and Decorate
Dip the yellow candy drops in some additional melted coating and adhere to the face of each mummy. Use the black food coloring markers to draw eyes.
