14 oz Candy Coating Discs

1/3 cup corn syrup


Place the coating discs in  the microwave and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Remove when almost melted and continue to stir until completely melted. (Do not overheat the discs). Add the corn syrup and stir until thouroughly mixed. ( Note: the mixture may appear slightly grainy). Wrap the mixture in plastic and let set overnight. Knead slightly before using.

Tips for use:

• Candy clay will initially be very firm. Knead in small sections to soften.

• If clay becomes too soft, refrigerate briefly to harden.

• When rolling out, use a light layer of cornstarch to keep it from sticking.
