Teeny Weeny Flower Pot Tutorial
These adorable bite size flower pots are the perfect treat for a little girl's tea party or a summer get together. A molded chocolate shell filled with store bought brownies and topped with pre-made flowers make these a quick and easy project to make and nothing gets friends more exicted than teen tiny cakes.
STEP 1: MAKE THE FLOWER POTS
Start by crumbling the brownies and placing them in a bowl
Place some of the orange candy coating discs in a microwaveable cup and heat on half power in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Remove when 3/4 of the discs are melted and continue to stir until the coating is completely melted. (Do not overheat the mixture)
Using a paint brush, dab melted coating inside the mini flower pot chocolate mold, creating a 1/8" shell. Once you have all the pots coated, place the mold in the fridge for 5 minutes.
Remove the mold and hold it up to the light. Recoat any areas that you missed or that look too thin until the coating is even. Place the mold back in the fridge for 5 minutes.
Remove the mold from the fridge and squish a tablespoon or so of crumbled brownie mixture into each pot until mounded. Then, place the mold in the FREEZER for 15 minutes, and then gently tilt the mold until the flower pots pop out.
STEP 2: TOP POTS WITH FLOWERS
Pipe a small dab of melted coating on the back of the premade flowers.
Top each mini pot with a flower arrangement.
